I looooove waffles for breakfast.. But I need to find whole wheat - healthier version.. so here is it. From Spelt flour, less sugar, less fat - no chemicals..
1 cup of Spelt Flour
1/4 cup of Coconut oil
2 table spoons of Sugar or Honey
3/4 cup of Coconut milk
1 table spoon of Cinnamon powder
1 tea spoon of Baking soda
Fruit, Yogurt and Honey for decoration (optional - you can use any topig you like)
- Preheat waffle iron. Mix all ingredients together just until smooth.
- It's not necceseary spray waffle iron with non-stick cooking spray, because we have coconut oil already in dough. Pour mix onto hot waffle iron. Cook until golden brown. Serve hot with any topig you like.
